Beef Stir Fry
We are so excited about our new item - Beef Stir Fry! We tested some out and LOVED it and hope you do too. It was delicious, easy and perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Here’s our favorite recipe!
Ingredients:
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 jalapeno pepper
2 limes
2 tsp sugar (or we like to use local honey)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp fresh ginger
1 onion
1/4 lb peas
2 bell peppers
Directions:
Season the beef stir fry with salt and pepper. Mix together the soy sauce, chopped jalapeno pepper, sugar (or honey) and juice from the limes. Add the beef, toss to coat and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil until shimmering, about 1 minute. Add the beef and cook, stirring, until cooked through, about 3 minutes. Set aside.
Once beef is removed, allow the liquid in the pan to reduce until thickened, about 4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and ginger and cook 1 minute more. Add the bell peppers, onions and any other vegetables you'd like and cook for 3 minutes. Add the peas and return the beef to the skillet and toss to combine.
We love serving our beef stir fry with rice made with our homemade beef or chicken broth we make using our beef bones, whole chickens or chicken necks and feet.
